TIPS TO PREVENT AUTISM
In many children, autism is caused by an abnormal immune response in the central nervous system. An abnormal immune response is more likely to happen in children which their immune systems have not fully matured or have been harmed.
The autism disease process is described in the medical research article published by Juan Rodriguez and Dr. Janet Kern.
Below there is a list of the things that are under our control to make sure that the children's immune systems can response correctly. This list is simple and it can greatly reduce the probability of a child from developing autism.
- Keep pregnant moms healthy and happy (diet, exercise, stress free and the supplementation of probiotics during pregnancy)
- Avoid taking any medications during pregnancy (*if possible)
- Making sure that moms continue to take probiotics while breastfeeding
- Breastfeed as long as possible
- The reason of why breast milk is so important is because it is rich in good bacteria which is passed to the babies to build up their immune system. Mothers need to have these good bacteria to be able to pass them to their children. Taking probiotic supplements and having a healthy diet will ensure that mothers have enough probiotics to pass to their children through breastmilk.
- Supplement the infant with probiotics on a daily basis, make it part of their life styles
- Reduce the use of antibiotics in children (ie. Don't use antibiotics for viral infections) – Always use probiotics after antibiotics
- Limit your child's exposure to anything that is known to activate the microglia (viruses, bacteria, fungus, parasites, toxins, etc…)

MEDICAL TREATMENT
The SCIA treatment protocol is a new way of treating autism by inhibiting microglial activation.
